Plastic Surgery Shows Significant Growth in 2011

2011 Plastic Surgery Stats released by ASPS and AAFRPS

The American Society of Plastic Surgeons has just released its most recent data on cosmetic surgery in the US. According to the report, surgical cosmetic procedures saw a 2% increase between 2010 and 2011, while minimally-invasive procedures saw a remarkable 6% rise. Between 2010 and 2011, the number of overall cosmetic procedures grew by 5%. Read the full report to find out last year’s top procedures.

In addition, the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery released its 2011 statistics on trends in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery.
