MyAdvice Acquires Certain Assets of Patient Education Concepts | MyAdviceMyAdvice LLC, a leading digital marketing company for healthcare professionals, will further expand its digital marketing operations and services with the acquisition of certain assets of Patient Education Concepts LLC.

“PEC’s Sight Selector, Website, and Social Media businesses are a wonderful strategic fit for MyAdvice. Ophthalmology was already one of our largest medical specialty areas. The acquisition of these PEC businesses reinforces MyAdvice’s position as the leading digital marketing agency serving Ophthalmologists and other medical professionals such as Plastic Surgeons, Dentists, Dermatologists and Orthopedic Surgeons,” explained MyAdvice CEO Shawn Miele. “We are extremely excited to welcome PEC’s customers to the MyAdvice family.”

The addition of PEC’s Sight Selector video library will be a tremendous asset to MyAdvice’s Ophthalmology clients. These videos will enhance client’s websites, computers, and iPads with over 135 animated videos designed to educate and convert patients to premium ophthalmic services.

While Robert Watson, PEC’s founder and president since 1982, is retiring from this aspect of the business, PEC’s most frequent day-to-day contact, Connie Reese, will be continuing with MyAdvice as a full-time employee. Also, PEC clients will have the full support of more than 70 specialists in website development, website management, social media, search engine optimization and video.

“It is no longer enough to just offer clients a pretty website with high quality animated videos,” said Watson, PEC’s founder and president since 1982. “In today’s market for premium ophthalmic services, ophthalmologists need a multi-channel marketing approach that includes a wide array of both print and digital marketing strategies to be competitive. Now, our website customers will have access to the best and most innovative forms of digital marketing to drive consumers into their practices.”

After being named #287 on Inc. Magazine’s list of fastest-growing companies and #19 on Utah’s list of fastest growing companies in 2016, MyAdvice continues its strategic growth with the acquisition of these PEC assets. This deal follows the acquisition of MedNet Technologies in June 2015, Everyday Doctors in November 2013 and E6 Interactive in February 2014. MyAdvice has proven its ability to effectively incorporate new clients by leveraging current processes to provide optimal results for new and existing customers. Financial terms of the transaction are confidential.
